How to Apply

Eligibility screenings are done by telephone and in person. You may also apply for services online.

Applications for services in Mohave and La Paz Counties are completed via the Kingman office.

 Please have all information about your legal issue and your household income ready when you visit or call CLS.

CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19

Due to building repairs Community Legal Services, Inc., will cease  in-office appointments with clients and walk-in applications for services until further notice except under the following circumstances: (1) Clients and new applicants for services who do not have a working phone or have insufficient or unreliable telephone service; (2) clients requiring preparation for trials and hearings. Three of CLS’ offices host limited hours for walk-in clients!

Need Legal Assistance?

Each Wednesday at Native Health from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM you can apply in person for free legal assistance from Community Legal Services.

Please note that July 20th we will be conducting intakes from 12:00 – 3:00 PM only.

  • Financial / additional eligibility is required.
  • First com, first served.
  • Masks are required.

Beginning on April 19, CLS’ Mohave/LaPaz office will be opening limited hours for walk-in clients!

Hours are limited and all walk-in applicants will be seen on a “first come, first served” basis, appointments cannot be guaranteed due to limited staffing and space.

Walk-in applicants must consent to temperature checks upon arrival, and wear a mask while inside the office.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, only individuals applying for assistance, and necessary adult assistants, should visit our office.

We are accepting applications over the phone, 602-258-3434, Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 2:00 pm, and Online 24 hours a day at https://azlawhelp.org/

Our limited walk-in hours are to provide access for applicants unable to contact our office by phone or apply for services online.
