How to Apply
Eligibility screenings are done by telephone and in person. You may also apply for services online.
Applications for services in Mohave and La Paz Counties are completed via the Kingman office.

Due to the Coronavirus Community Legal Services, Inc., will cease all in-office appointments with clients and walk-in applications for services until further notice except under the following circumstances: (1) Clients and new applicants for services who do not have a working phone or have insufficient or unreliable telephone service; (2) clients requiring preparation for trials and hearings.

(COVID-19 Pandemic)
WALK INS: In these difficult times, we are doing everything we can to remain available to provide legal assistance. For the safety of the public, our staff and the communities we serve, walk in applications are suspended until further notice at Community Legal Services. We will still be taking applications online and via phone at 1(800) 852-9075 (M-F: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.).
APPOINTMENTS: If you have an in-person appointment and wish it to be by phone, please contact your advocate. If you are sick, please call and cancel your appointment; you can reschedule when you are well or you can schedule a phone call appointment.
OUTREACH/CLINICS: Due to concerns for everyone’s health, we have decided to cancel all in-person outreach events and clinics until further notice. Clinics have been temporarily replaced by ongoing webinars on various topics. Please check our calendar for upcoming presentations.
We want to be clear that these cancellations and measures are a preventive measure. We encourage everyone to exercise appropriate caution and refer you to the following websites for guidelines on minimizing your risk:

We will conduct business by phone or e-mail unless one of the above two exceptions are present. If you cannot communicate by phone please knock on the door. Be prepared to keep a distance of 6 feet from our advocates. Do not knock on the door if you feel like you may have a cold or the flu.
If you are a client and do not meet one of the two exceptions stated above, please call 928 445-9240 and leave us a message and/or e-mail the advocate(s) you are working with at Yavapai@clsaz.orgcreate new email.
